Welcome New MITC Staff Member – Adrian Horn
We are pleased to announce that Adrian Horn has joined the MITC staff as Director of Trade Services.
An Arizona native, Adrian moved to Maine in 2015 after a varied career that began in the US Marine Corps and included a stop at Apple. Since 2017, Adrian supervised the project management and training teams at MITC 2020 Foreign Investor of the Year award winner Modula in Lewiston, as well as implemented training and other projects at a number of their international operations.
During a search process that attracted qualified applicants from across the country, the selection team was struck by Adrian’s collaborative and personable leadership style, his professional project management skill set, and the strong enthusiasm he communicated for Maine and our mission to grow the state’s economy through international trade in a very thoughtful and compelling way. In his new role at MITC, he will manage our team of trade specialists.
This addition represents a wonderful growth opportunity both for our organization collectively and staff individually. Please join us in welcoming Adrian. We look forward to introducing you to him in the future.
“It’s not often that you get the privilege to join a well-respected organization like MITC with more than two decades of collaborative and pragmatic efforts to grow Maine’s economy. I am beyond thrilled and humbled to have this opportunity to work for the businesses and people of the great state of Maine. Without question I am most excited to lead the MITC trade specialist team, providing businesses and educational institutions with guidance, trusted resources, and valuable connections to support their international success.”
